FROM BANGOR/I-95:
From I-95 North or South, take exit 182A onto I-395 E. Go 4.7 miles and take exit 6A to merge onto U.S. 1A East/Wilson Street toward Ellsworth and Bar Harbor. Go 11.6 mi, passing the Lucerne Inn, and turn left onto Green Lake Road. Go 2.2 miles. The road forks, stay left. The paved road ends and the gravel road begins. From this point, go four miles to the head of the lake. Bear right. Look for the cottage number on the left.
FROM BAR HARBOR/ACADIA:
From Main Street in Ellsworth at the junction of Route 1 and 1A, head north on 1A toward Bangor. Go 11.5 miles and turn right onto Green Lake Road. Go 2.2 miles. The road forks, stay left. The paved road ends and the gravel road begins. From this point, go four miles to the head of the lake. Bear right. Look for the cottage number on the left.
